Job Description

a) Steward of the brand that supports our brand promise, brand vision, brand position, brand architecture and helps achieve overall business goals for the company.
b) Ad-hoc reporting and Action oriented resource.
c) Engages, inspires and stimulate the company’s staff around the brand vision, position and strategies so they are clear in bringing them to life in their areas of functional expertise.
d) Participates in senior brand strategy discussions and in setting a bulls-eye on consumer and trade targets in the Market.
e) Works collaboratively with Marketing on all communications to execute consistent messaging with a determined communications hierarchy and within global guidelines.
f) Drives consumer understanding and insights that defines our prime prospects’ needs, attitudes and values in order for consumers to have stronger and more impactful brand experiences.

Job Specification

Basic Skills required for this job:
a) Detailed knowledge of marketing principles and practices in a consumer goods/packaged goods market.
b) Strong people agility, characterized by a high level of self-awareness, able to learn from experience, treat others constructively, especially when dealing with conflict and disagreement, and is cool and resilient under pressure.
c) Social media expertise
d) Successful track record of implementing global branding strategies in a fast-moving consumer goods company.
e) Knowledge of target consumer behaviors and the key communication drivers that affect purchase behavior
f) Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
g) Demonstrated “hands-on”, professional approach to business and a willingness to be held accountable for results.
h) Demonstrated experience and success in reaching and activating consumers through traditional and social media.
i) Highly resourceful; not dependent on large corporate staffs and resources.
j) Demonstrated success in selecting and managing outside agencies/vendors to achieve results.
k) An undergraduate degree is required and an MBA degree is preferred.
l) Demonstrated leadership and talent management competencies.
